Rugged industrial thermometer with heavy duty insertion probe. Very robust 250mm x 6mm insertion probe, tapering to 3mm tip for fast response temperature reading. Tough, solid aluminium handle, suitable for temperature measurement of bitmac/asphalt and/or concrete pours and concrete mixes during road construction. Bitumen/asphalt is laid using paver machines, the temperature of the hot mix is crucial during the laying process and temperatures must be monitored to ensure smooth finish. The TP1000 heavy duty bitumen/asphalt steel insertion probe is tough and long enough with a tapering tip that allows for fast and accurate temperature measurements together with the TR61 Thermometer provide the confidence and accuracy you need during road laying.
