Fast measurement of speed or velocity of air, gases or wind
The VT50 Thermo-Anemometer (or wind speed meter) with hot wire probe, is the most popular type of anemometer, ideal for measuring the velocity of gases, airflow/wind speed. Thermo-anemometers are important instruments that are used to measure and test indoor air quality by measuring the air velocity in ventilation ducts, air conditioning systems and office/room environments, ensuring the correct environmental conditions are met.
Anemometers are used in a wide variety of applications such as: HVAC engineers and technicians (Heating ventilation and air conditioning), meteorologists (to assist with wind speed and air flow weather measurements), hospitals (to measure airflow and room pressurisation) and environmental engineers (to test ventilation ducts and office environments).
