As restrictions continue to ease and as we begin to see an end to lockdown, food and catering businesses will breathe a sigh of relief as they open their doors once again. No doubt first on the list, will be a deep clean of surfaces and equipment to ensure safety of customers and employees.  However, it is vitally important not to overlook any requirements associated with HACCP relating to temperature testing equipment and calibration.


Has Your Calibration Certificate Expired?

For example, during the lockdown, have the calibration due dates for your probe thermometers expired?  Are all your thermometers functional - do you need additional units or replacements?  Perhaps lockdown has given cause to reflect on HACCP and maybe you require temperature data loggers also for longer term monitoring.


Sanitising with Alcohol Probe Wipes
