What is Space X?

Space X is an American aerospace manufacturer based in California and was established by Elon Musk in 2002 with the vision to enable the colonisation of Mars!

By the end of 2021 SpaceX has set its sights on sending an all-civilian mission to space and has already sold a flight for up to four people to Jared Isaacman, a tech entrepreneur and pilot, who will be one of the first private citizens to fly on the Space X ‘Crew Dragon’ space craft and orbit the Earth. Mr Isaccman is using this mission to raise money for St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Anyone who donates to St Jude’s will automatically be entered into a draw for a place on the Crew Dragon.

The private space travel mission has been titled ‘Inspiration4’ and will take place later this year with four civilian astronauts aboard the flight and astronaut training will be provided for the crew."This is an important milestone toward enabling access to space for everyone." Elon Musk, SpaceX's founder has said.
