Non Contact Thermometers are very beneficial for testing human body temperature especially during the Covid 19 crisis.  The IR200 can help by monitoring temperature changes in any individual by measuring forehead temperature. This non contact technique lowers the potential spread of infections that may be a risk when using contact thermometers. There is no need for additional supplies such as replacement probe covers.

Always use a clinical thermometer when high accuracy body temperature measurements are required.  IR Thermometers that detect elevated body temperature will vary with various factors and should not be relied upon as the sole determinant of a person’s body temperature. Use of additional medical devices and/or healthcare professionals will be needed to properly diagnose the condition of persons in any health screening assessment to identify elevated body temperature for any person.
